Besides humanities , the college provides education in Commerce and Science also. The College has a total number of 55 posts including Principal , teaching and non teaching staff and class IV employees. The Faculty Members are very hardworking and energetic and the university results are very good every year. Keeping in mind the difficulties of the rural girls , Baba Ji got it sactioned as a co-educational institute. Because the social culture of the villagers cannot send the girls to Ludhiana 30 kms away. If Baba ji would not have started this college the entire region would have been regarded as a backward area on the map of Punjab. We offer our heart-felt applaud to Baba Ji’s dynamic thinking.

Today this rural college is among the reputed colleges of Punjab. In 1975, on the ground occasion of Guru Nanak Dev Ji’s 500 birth anniversary , four Guru Nanak Dev Bhawans were built all over India, and the college got the honour of being one of them. Today in the east of the main building, a red painted beautiful building is so enchanting to look at. Besides, the college can boast of fully equipped ultra modern Chemistry , Physics and Geography laboratories. Library reading room and play ground are dedicated to the all round development of the students.

Keeping in view the demand of the day , the Computer Education has been started in the college by the University and through Edu-Sat , the institute has been linked to other institutes of India.
