Political Science plays a vital role in the development of individuals. Political science including social science subjects like Sociology, History, Economics, Public administration etc. It also Includes the study of National and International Law, Administrative Law, Municipal Law, Humanitarian Law and apart from it also includes the study of International ranking issued by the Various International organisations International treatise, Conventions and various summits. Therefore it produces various Political leaders, Administrator, Advocates Policy makers, Ambassadors, Public/Civil servants. Political science is very helpful in competitive exams like SSC or SPSC or UPSC etc.
About Department
The Political Science department also observes various National and International days throughout the year. Like International Environment Day, World water day, Constitution Day, National Voter Day, Republic day, Independence day, Gandhi Jayanti, National Unity Day etc. The Political Science Department itself ensures that Promotion of Human Rights and belief in UN charter principles.

The department is having its own book bank which provides free of cost books to the poor, needy and meritorious students as per their need.
