Introduction

Department of commerce has been functional in Govt College , Karamsar since 1989. Commerce is blood stream of a nation and it is the fundamental requirement for development as the growth and prosperity of any nation depends upon overall development of its youth.  In which Commerce education plays a very important role. Commerce is a composite study of accounts, management, business law, tax, business statistics, human resource management, entrepreneurial development, economics, and business studies. The faculty of commerce plays an important role in providing in-depth knowledge of subjects and other activities.

Departmental society

Commerce student society was established in 2006 by students of commerce department under the guidance of commerce faculty members. It was registered in 2017-2018. This society has its own book bank which provides books to needy students. Members of this society actively engage themselves into different activities and events. Alongwith this, it provides financial help to needy students.

Industrial Visit and other activities

Field work enables students  to examine the ways to interact with real life.  Various types of trips and industrial visits enables them to get the taste of real life. Arrangement of seminars , workshops and other activities by students enable them to gain practical experience . All these things play an important role in overall development of students.
