The
department of mathematics has been embedded in the mines of college in 1969.
Since the department has come a long way, pioneering in mathematics by
successfully keeping up with the high-end requirement and focuses on the
professional development of students by conducting various activities such as
workshops, quiz competitions, exhibitions etc. From its inception to present,
the department has evolved in several directions with other departments of
college. Apart from college library, dept. has its own library where students
get benefited from books whenever they want. Dept. also donates books to needy
students. Department is trying to be in place according to the era of
education. We have achieved a lot and yet remained more to competent.
